Yuliani received the Singapore Airlines scholarship during her study in ITS Surabaya, and obtained a bachelor degree on 2004. She was active for more than two years in industrial management and system development laboratory as a lab assistant, and represented ITS on national industrial engineering competition and won the first place. On 2008 to 2013, she got Taiwan Tech scholarship for both Master and PhD program in department of industrial management. Due to her contributions, she was awarded the youth outstanding student in management school, and chosen as the only representative from Indonesia to feature in FICHET Taiwan video.
She has been officially joined the School of Business and Management – ITB from 2010 and be part of operation and performance management team (OPM). Her current research focuses on business strategy in emerging markets, decision making, and operation management.

Introduction to Information Technology

The objective of this course is to develop knowledge about the foundation of information and computer technology; how to utilize the information and computer technology, completed with the introduction of program and commercial applications.


Technology and Operations Management

Technology and operation management is a core course intended for all students in bachelor, master, and doctoral program. The primary goal of this course is to develop competences about analyzing, designing and operating processes; develop ability to select and use frameworks and tools, to solve operations and supply chains management problems; develop interpersonal skills, professional, entrepreneurial, ethical, and global mindset. After completing this course, students are expected to be able to identify operations and supply chain management problems, seek opportunities for improvement, excellence, and development in a company. Student will be able to select and apply proper tools to solve these problems.

Research Agenda (2010 – Now)

Yuliani has been conducting a various research under operation management from 2010 until today. Working together with her advisor (Prof. Kung Jeng Wang) in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Department of Industrial Management), her research themes covering operational strategy and sustainability; product development and innovation. On the other hand, she is also conducting independent research about supplier selection and process capability analysis. Her research agenda is described in the following picture.
