Yose Rizal, the Commissioner of Telkomsel, emphasized the importance of digital transformation. Consumers continue to adapt to rapid changes, so companies must also do so.
Digitalization is a significant factor contributing to this rapid change. Not to mention the Covid-19 situation causing services and products globally that are fully or partially digital are proliferating.
“This (digitalization) is our way to survive,” Yose said at the event “E-TALK Series – Digital Transformation: More Than Just A Technology”.
Yose said that Telkomsel is already on its way to shift to a digital company through digital services, such as MaxStream, digital connectivity such as by.U, and co-creation with Gojek and Kredivo.
“Digital Transformation is not only about technology, but also people’s mindset,” Telkomsel is currently applied working from home, but the KPI can still be achieved. There are also many developments in terms of management and process,” said Yose.
Telkomsel, one of the wealthiest data companies in Indonesia, continues to integrate and apply Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in various fields.
After 26 years, Telkomsel changed its logo to be more agile and dynamic. Telkomsel also simplifies products so that they are relevant to consumers.
“Digital Transformation must be top-down. There must be encouragement and support from top management because it will be difficult to implement without it. It is hoped that every company will always be aware that digital transformation is a critical aspect to survive in the rapidly developing world,” Yose said.
This E-TALK Series was also attended by Yudo Anggoro, PhD, the Director of MBA Jakarta Campus.
