Faiz delved into the intricacies of digital marketing during a guest lecture for Management students at the SBM ITB, on Monday (27/11).

During the lecture, Faiz highlighted the significance of choosing the appropriate marketing channels, considering factors such as scale, targets, and customer acquisition costs (CAC) – the costs associated with acquiring a customer for the first time.
According to Faiz, platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram effectively execute marketing strategies aligned with the latest trends. In search engine optimization (SEO) analysis, Google Trends is a valuable tool for identifying mass market keywords. Faiz also guided using keywords with attention to timing.
The discussion extended to the funnel stages of digital marketing, encompassing awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention. Faiz illustrated with an example that not all MSMEs have large budgets for increasing awareness, necessitating the right strategy. In addition to exposure, Faiz provided students with in-depth training on the fundamentals of digital marketing and how to formulate strategies applicable to navigating business dynamics in this digital era.
