The ITB Management Student Family held a Career Path Mentoring event for Management students. This event trained students to create curriculum vitae and simulate job interviews.
This event’s first day was Saturday, March 16, 2024. Students who had chosen their field of interest were introduced to mentors and the stages of mentoring activities.
The four mentors from various fields attended this event were alumni of SBM ITB. They were Ilham Muharam majoring in Operations from SBM ITB 2021, Rindu Fadilah Amor Syahir majoring in Human Resources from 2023, Loudiva Pramudya majoring in Marketing from 2023, and Vincentia Viona majoring in Finance from 2023.
The second day’s activity is a CV consultation with a mentor according to student’s field of interest. Mentors provide explanations and tips on how to create a stunning CV. Then, the mentor reviews the CVs one by one.
The last day is an activity where students learn about job interviews. They are taught technical and non-technical aspects of interviews, from body language to strategies for addressing questions.
This mentoring activity was beneficial for the students.
“I think the mentoring is good. The mentor is helpful, so I knows what other people think about our CV and correct the blind spots,” said Reyna Aszzura Rasyida, one of the 2024 SBM ITB Management students who participated in this event.
