Student associations at the Institut Teknologi Bandung serve as platforms for students to develop their mindset, character, and potential in specific fields of study. This also applies for SBM ITB, which has two prominent associations: the Management Student Family (KMM) and the Entrepreneurship Student Association (IMK) “Artha.”
For the 2024/2025 academic year, KMM ITB is led by Habibie Rauuf Harvian, while Alldyo Novan chairs IMK “Artha” ITB. Both leaders bring fresh visions and missions to guide their associations toward growth and improvement.
Habibie has introduced the theme “Putih Ubah,” symbolizing the collaboration and transformation of KMM to adapt to the evolving needs of the times. Meanwhile, Alldyo has chosen the “Proactive Progressive” theme, highlighting the importance of an active approach and continuous development in advancing IMK.
“Being involved in organizations has been part of my life since junior high school. By continuing to contribute, even though starting from a small environment, I gained the trust of my friends at SBM to become the association’s chairman,” said Habibie on Thursday, September 19.
Alldyo added, “My motivation is to make a greater impact on the surrounding community, especially within IMK. I also see many opportunities for growth while serving as chairman.”
Both leaders have been active in various committee roles, including the Ganesha Business Management Festival (GBF) and the SBM orientation program (OS), which are key parts of their leadership journey. After a long process, from drafting proposals to campaigning, they were ultimately elected as chairpersons of their respective associations.
Since their elections, several programs have been implemented. IMK has conducted community service activities at Cihapit Market in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Bank Indonesia and has launched internalization programs. Meanwhile, KMM has partnered with Paragon Corporation to create new job opportunities for its members.
Habibie defines leadership as “Not about what you get, but about giving what you have.” For Alldyo, leadership is “an opener of opportunities that I never imagined.”
Both leaders hope their associations will continue to fulfill their responsibilities and objectives smoothly. As Habibie noted, “Everything starts with a small step.”
With their motivation for innovation, Habibie and Alldyo exemplify SBM ITB’s vision of producing innovative leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets capable of positively impacting the business world, government, and society.
