The occasion was marked with a celebration event at the Intercontinental Hotel Bandung on Sunday (10/27).
The undergraduate program conferred 213 Bachelor of Management degrees, with 119 graduates earning the prestigious cum laude predicate. Additionally, 58 students completed the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship program, 39 of whom graduated with honors. This reflects an impressive on-time graduation rate of 70% for the 2021 intake.
“As you begin a new chapter, I encourage you to continue pursuing your passion with strong determination. Never be afraid to take risks, step out of your comfort zone, and challenge yourself to achieve more,” said Prof. Dr. I. Ignatius Pulung Nurprasetio, M.SME., Dean of SBM ITB, as he opened the event with an inspiring motivational speech.
The Chairman of the SBM ITB Alumni Association, Novrizal Pratama, expressed heartfelt pride in the graduates, describing them as a source of renewed hope. He urged the graduates not to fear failure.
“Everyone has experienced failure. Use this era to explore, learn, and try new things. Build your network because relationships often shape careers,” Novrizal advised.
Representing the 2021 intake, Naufal Makarim, Head of the Management Student Association, and Zakaria Hermawan expressed gratitude and optimism, sharing their aspirations of becoming future business leaders.
The event also celebrated the achievements of two international students, Phil and Norman. Phil shared his pride in graduating from SBM ITB, reflecting on the challenges and camaraderie he experienced.
“I am very proud to be here, achieving this milestone alongside my peers and celebrating together. My two years here were a decision I will never regret,” said Phil.
Norman echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the supportive environment at SBM ITB.
“Among many countries and universities, I chose SBM ITB. The professors and friends here have been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my academic journey. The diverse culture and warmth of the Indonesian people have made my time here truly enjoyable,” said Norman.
The entire SBM ITB community congratulates the Class of 2024 and looks forward to witnessing their future accomplishments.
