Three lecturers from the SBM ITB have launched a book titled Learning for Innovations in Digital Startups. The book explores how learning fosters sustainable innovation in Indonesia’s digital startup ecosystem.
Digital technology-based startups are renowned for their innovation and rapid growth. However, sustaining innovation and growth requires continuous learning. Without it, long-term success becomes unattainable.
Authored by Dedy Sushandoyo, Eko Agus Prasetio, and Raden Rara Retna Ayu Mustikarini Kencanasari, the book draws on their extensive expertise in business management and innovation. The authors are also members of the Management of Technology (MoT) Lab at SBM ITB.
“We hope this book will benefit both practitioners and students interested in building innovative, fast-growing, and sustainable digital startups,” said Eko Agus Prasetio in Bandung on Friday (24/1).
President of Knowledge Management Society Indonesia Jann Hidajat Tjakraatmadja and Director of Digital Business Telkom Indonesia Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid wrote the foreword in this book. The book comprises 18 chapters, covering fundamental digital-era concepts and key lessons from startup experiences. The early chapters provide theoretical discussions on digital transformation, knowledge management, and innovation.
Next, readers will be invited to explore the success stories of Indonesian startups through detailed and comprehensive case studies. The book concludes with learning models and key takeaways from startup case studies.
Now available at ITB Press, located on the first floor of the STP ITB Building at Jalan Ganesha No. 15F, Bandung, the book underscores SBM ITB lecturers’ commitment to advancing business knowledge and practices in Indonesia. It is expected to inspire readers to embrace continuous learning and innovation by utilizing digital technology effectively.
