Job seekers need to pay attention to the curriculum vitae (CV) sent to the company. An attractive CV must be authentic, detailed and precise, rich in vocabularies, ATS-friendly, and accurate on the specific target.
“Recruiters only need 5 to 7 seconds to review a resume and decide whether it is qualified. Therefore, it is vital to stealing their attention through your CV and cover letter,” said the leader of Accenture talent acquisition, Fala Rininda, in a guest lecture session at the SBM ITB’s Human Capital Management training entitled “Recruitment and Selection Process” on Wednesday (16/2/2022). Fala completed her master’s degree in human resources management at the University of Indonesia.
Proudly serving more than 6,000 clients in 120 countries, Accenture is a leading global professional services company. They provide a broad range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, technology, and many more.
“The recruitment business process starts in the talent fulfilment,” stated Fala. Through sourcing and HR screening, shortlisted candidates are invited for an online assessment. Next, they are invited to an interview if they meet the provided skills test. After passing all the stages, candidates are offered the job if their results are adequate for the position.
There are many methods of potential sourcing candidates, such as job portals, recruitment agencies, and campus engagement. After sourcing candidates, it is also important to measure the “success” by metrics, such as quality of hire, source of hire, and recruitment funnel effectiveness. Recruitment funnels determine the percentage of applications hired.
