Consequently, Tri Utomo Wiganarto emphasizes the significance of companies understanding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) to predict future challenges, including external changes such as pandemics or wars.
Tri Utomo Wiganarto, an entrepreneur in the manufacturing sector and founder of the Digital Marketing School, actively develops his digital marketing business. He is also involved in transformation consulting and leadership programs. As a postgraduate lecturer at Padjadjaran University and the Institut Teknologi Bandung, he had the opportunity to participate in an Organizational Behavior (OB) seminar at the SBM ITB on Sunday (3/12).
Tri Utomo discussed various topics during the seminar, including organizational culture, organizational change, organizational design, and organizational structure. According to Tri Utomo, company productivity is influenced by individual factors such as personality, motivation, and assigned tasks. Similarly, group behavior is affected by conflict management, communication, and effective leadership. Organizational structure and culture are focal points in building systems that support organizational performance.
Several factors can influence organizational and individual effectiveness, such as competence, skills, knowledge, attitudes, motivation, and stress management. Operating standards and procedures (SOP) and organizational rules are vital to maintaining order and discipline. In terms of motivation, Tri Utomo emphasized that internal motivation has a more significant long-term impact than external motivation.
