Marketing holds a pivotal position in distributor companies, where the sales division’s main tasks include identifying potential buyers and presenting competitive product offers. However, without an integrated system, these tasks can become fragmented and inefficient.
The Founder and CEO of PT. Ctech ERP Indonesia, Agung Terminanto discussed this issue in a guest lecture for ITB MBA students on Wednesday (5/6).
In his presentation, Agung highlighted how implementing an ERP system like Odoo can significantly enhance sales efficiency. He described Odoo as a revolutionary tool that streamlines various business processes through its comprehensive architecture, effective implementation strategies, and numerous benefits.
Agung explained that Odoo utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to integrate diverse business functions, including inventory management, accounting, production, and sales, into a cohesive system. This integration helps to address inefficiencies that are common in traditional sales processes.
During the lecture, Agung shared insights from a gap and efficiency analysis comparing business processes before and after the adoption of Odoo. He revealed that the implementation of Odoo led to a remarkable 63% increase in the efficiency of the bidding process and a 50% improvement in the number of actors involved in the process.
Through this engaging lecture, Agung aimed to inspire students and offer them a deeper understanding of the crucial role they will play in advancing ERP innovations in the business sector. By familiarizing them with Odoo, he hopes students can prepare themselves for a future full of innovation and digital transformation.
