According to Prof. Dr. Ir. Utomo Sarjono Putro, M.Eng., one of the promoters, Hanto succeeded in turning PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, the company he worked for, into his research laboratory. Thus, the results of this study have a very high value because they can contribute both in practical and theoretical terms.
“This is what makes us, lecturers at SBM, very happy to guide and produce doctors who not only produce theory development but also bring improvements to our respective companies,” said Professor Utomo proudly.
On the way to earning his doctorate, Hanto was known as a hard worker. His attitude and behavior were recognized by his study supervisors, Professor Utomo and Professor Yos Sunityoso. Born as the son of a doctor, Hanto is very familiar with the academic environment. In addition, he also received full support and prayers from his two children and his wife. Therefore, it is unsurprising that Hanto got his doctorate with a very high score.
At the end of the session, Professor Dermawan Wibisono, the chairperson, did not forget to give several important messages for Hanto’s life as a PhD holder in the future. “In the future, you have to be more vocal because now you have become an expert in the field,” he said.
