Profile

Novika is a full-time lecturer at the School of Business and Management, ITB (SBM ITB), specializing in business strategy and marketing. She holds a PhD in International Entrepreneurship from the School of Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. As an international entrepreneurship ambassador representing Indonesia, she actively promotes entrepreneurship, particularly in emerging markets, and is a member of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and the Academy of Management (AOM).

With over a decade of teaching experience, Novika teaches courses in international business, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and digital marketing. Her expertise is further enhanced by a Digital Marketing Specialist (CDMS) certification. She received her bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Telkom University and began her career in the marketing field as a customer service representative for PT Telkomsel, where she earned multiple nominations as one of the best officers for her outstanding performance.

During her master's studies in science management at SBM ITB, Novika contributed to projects in the R&D division at PT Telkom and served as a tutor at SBM ITB. After graduating and being recognized as an outstanding scholar, she advanced her career in market, brand and product development at MBA ITB while also taking on the roles of research assistant and tutor at SBM ITB. She has also gained experience working as a lecturer at private universities for more than 10 years.

Her research interests include the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), international entrepreneurship, creative industries, digital marketing, innovation and digitalization, and entrepreneurial decision-making.

Novika is also a prolific author, collaborating with international scholars on research papers and books that explore digital technologies and internationalization. She has received best paper and best presentation awards at international conferences and serves as a reviewer for national journals as well as the International Entrepreneurship Journal (Q1).

Committed to academic engagement, she actively participates in prestigious conferences, such as the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA) and the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research Exchange (ACERE). She was selected as a Young International Business Scholar and participated in a workshop organized by the European International Business Academy (EIBA). Her works have been published in both national and international journals, making significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge in her fields of expertise.
