Continuous improvement and innovation play crucial roles in business. Fridericiana Marie, Founder and CEO of PT Mari Sini Bermpi (Maiimi), encourages students who want to start their businesses to “keep pursuing their passions and continually refine what they have already achieved.”

Marie shared this advice during a guest lecture for the Class of 2025 Entrepreneurship class at the SBM ITB, Jatinangor Campus, on Wednesday (10/7). In her lecture, Marie focused on a critical aspect of developing a new business: market testing.

Marie shared her experiences and challenges while building her company, highlighting the importance of storytelling in product development.

“Storytelling is essential throughout the product journey. It connects our product with customers emotionally, making it more relatable and engaging,” said Marie.

She also stressed the practicality of learning from past mistakes, emphasizing that businesspeople should not repeat previous errors but instead apply those lessons to future endeavors.

These lectures are not just theoretical discussions but also include interactive elements where students can ask questions and seek advice directly from Marie. This engagement equips students with valuable insights that can be directly applied to their projects, making them feel ready to take on their entrepreneurial journey.
